First Light is a high end tailored contemporary classic women’s outerwear collection exploring the depths of hand felted wool. Through techniques of welt, needle and nuno felting the designer developed and personally crafted luxurious wool felts made from merino wool.  Using traditional tailoring techniques these garments are stitched and finished to the finest quality. Inspired by daybreak and the morning horizon this collection uses off white wool transitioning into gradients of warm colours. Referencing the natural fluid lines of the horizon this collection mixes wavy design lines with streamline tailored silhouettes. The collection offers tailored coats, vest and capes made from the hand felted wool. Paired with the outwear garments this collection includes slim trousers, skirts and dresses made from rich wine coloured wool fabrics and needle felted wool embellishments.
